Sharelinks
Generally, to view or download the content of a bloon, you need to be logged in as a member of that bloon. Sharelinks, however, enable anybody to access a specific item through a link, no matter if they happen to be logged out or don't even have a BLOON account.
Sharelinks do not expose content to search engines.
Sharelinks present as plain URLs, ready to be opened using any browser. This is a sharelink to a file item:

A sharelink for a file item is not a link to download the file, but it brings you to an item info page containing the link to download the file.
This is a sharelink to a BLOON doc:

And this is a sharelink to a folder:

A sharelink to a folder provides access to the contents of that folder and its subfolders, regardless of whether the person using the sharelink is logged in to BLOON.
A sharelink can have an expiration date. Past that date, the sharelink automatically becomes ineffective. You can also set a sharelink to never automatically expire.
One item can have multiple sharelinks pointing to it.
Being able to create multiple sharelinks for the same item enables you, for instance, to give one group of associates a sharelink expiring on a certain date while giving another group of associates a sharelink expiring on a different date, or never.
Creating sharelinks
To begin, right-click on any item in the right pane and select "Create Sharelink..."
You can give the sharelink an expiration date. If the item is a folder, you can also enable content display mode.
Reviewing existing sharelinks
The green "link" icon in the upper left quadrant of the main window, near where the name of the current bloon is displayed...
... leads to a list of sharelinks created for items in the current bloon, including expired ones, which can be renewed here. Sharelinks do not disappear from this list unless they are deleted manually.
