Items

BLOON manages or supports four types of items:

• files
• URLs (bookmarks)
• folders
• BLOON documents (B-docs)

Metadata

Each item carries the following metadata:

• notes
• comments
• tags

You can view, leave, or edit notes and comments in the item theater.

Item ID links & stubs

• an item ID link (ID): a unique, fixed identification string in the form of a link; and
• a BLOON stub (B-stub): a placeholder file that is created on your hard drive for every item for which there is an underlying file that isn't held locally at the moment.

Sharelinks

You can share an item with anyone — provided they have access to the internet — using a sharelink.
